IMPORTANT NOTICE: The HP Certified Professional Program will undergo a system application freeze as we prepare for the launch of a new Learning Management System.
What is changing?
In the November timeframe you will see and experience significant improvements in accessing HP training and certification information. We will be consolidating multiple training/certification websites and applications into a new single learning management system (LMS) called “The Learning Center”, making it easier to search and find training opportunities that are relevant to your business needs.
All partner training information will be located in The Learning Center and accessed via the HP Partner Portal. Moving to this new system alleviates the need to remember multiple URLs, logins, and passwords required today.
Active students and Partner’s will be receiving a communication with more details and further actions at a later date.
How this impacts learners:
Starting October 20, 2008 until mid November, the following processes will be impacted:
- Student ID
- New learners will not be able to obtain an HP Student ID
- Learners will not be able to update their learning profile
- Training
- Learners will be asked to register via the toll free number only. No online registration will be available. Visit Training Registration for more information.
- Learners will be able to still purchase course materials (North America Only)
- Exams
- HP will not track or manage new exam records. Any exams taken on or after October 20th will be reflected in the new system. New students will not be able to take exams at Prometric
- HP will not manage or capture third-party certificates or exams
- Active Student will be able to continue taking exams with their valid Student ID
- Certification/qualification
- Learners will not be granted any new certification/qualification
- Learners will not receive a certificate (e-certificate or hardcopy)
- Certification Lookup Tool for North America, will contain stagnant records
- Web Portal
