Announcing HP integrated Citrix XenServer
HP has integrated Citrix XenServer for ProLiant - the only out of box virtualization offering that features both core server management tools and the new ProLiant Virtual Console (PVC), helping customers deploy new virtual machines, optimize IT infrastructure, save time, and apply upgrades easily and reliably.
Citrix XenServer is a high performance virtualization solution designed for efficient support of Windows and Linux virtual machines. As part of ProLiant iVirtualization, HP has tightly integrated Citrix XenServer into ProLiant platforms to enable faster installation, configuration, and virtual machine management. The product set features the HP ProLiant Virtual Console (PVC), a simple to use GUI interface to setup and manage virtual machines on individual servers. Optional HP iLO2 Advanced Pack provides remote access to HP PVC, allowing administration of HP PVC regardless of location. HP integrated Citrix XenServer with HP ProLiant Virtual Console provides a straightforward deployment and management environment that speeds adoption of flexible, cost-saving virtualization technology.
