For the SMC7008ABR NAT Box (8-port version, SMC P/N 750.9814 only).
This firmware fixes the problem with the NAT Box causing communication
problems on the server management LAN resulting in "Missing Neighbor Timeouts"
in the MBM log. This file should be downloaded and unzipped onto a laptop that
will be connected to the NAT Box on the LAN (private) side.
Note: The existing NAT Box configuration settings need to be saved by
writing them down & re-entering them after the firmware upgrade because the
configuration export tool will not work with different firmware revisions.
The browser should be set to the NAT Box address to get the Login Screen.
Click on "LOGIN", then "ADVANCED SETTINGS", then "TOOLS", the "FIRMWARE UPGRADE".
In the appropriate subwindow, browse to the "unzipped" bin file, "OPEN" and
then "APPLY". It should complete in appr. 1 min. Power cycle the NAT Box or
go back to "TOOLS", then "RESET" to cycle the NAT Box with the upgraded
firmware. Do same for each NAT Box on the system.
